01 Warranty period
6 monthsStandard warrantyCovergard products carry a standard 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
Certain specialised packaging or premium product tiers may stipulate a longer warranty period, as explicitly stated on the physical packaging.
02 Implied warranty
In accordance with Section 55 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, all products supplied by Covergard carry an implied warranty of quality. This ensures that our goods are reasonably suitable for the purposes for which they are generally intended.
03 Exclusions and limitations
- 01Not coveredThe warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or misuse of the product outside of its intended environmental operating parameters.
- 02Proof of purchaseProof of purchase in the form of a valid invoice or receipt is mandatory for all warranty claims and registrations.
- 03ModificationsModification of any Covergard surface treatment or structural component immediately voids the manufacturer's warranty.
