South African sun is brutal on paintwork: clear coats dull, dashboards crack and rubber seals perish, all from standing outside. A Covergard vehicle cover puts a UV-stabilised barrier between your vehicle and the weather: sun, dust, bird droppings and tree sap included.

The range runs from hatchbacks and sedans up to bakkies and full-size 4x4s, cut to drape the body properly rather than balloon in the wind. The fabric is breathable, which matters more on a vehicle than anywhere else: unlike a plastic tarpaulin, it doesn't trap condensation against the bodywork, so the cover protects the paint instead of blistering it.
