Vehicle Covers
South African sun is brutal on paintwork: clear coats dull, dashboards crack and rubber seals perish, all from standing outside. A Covergard vehicle cover puts a UV-stabilised barrier between your vehicle and the weather: sun, dust, bird droppings and tree sap included.

About this range
Breathable, so bodywork stays dry
The range runs from hatchbacks and sedans up to bakkies and full-size 4x4s, cut to drape the body properly rather than balloon in the wind. The fabric is breathable, which matters more on a vehicle than anywhere else: unlike a plastic tarpaulin, it doesn't trap condensation against the bodywork, so the cover protects the paint instead of blistering it. Motorbikes, bakkie load beds and boot liners are covered in the same range. Trailers have a range of their own now, linked under Related ranges below.
Vehicle Covers questions
Is a cover practical for a car I drive every day?
Yes, once it's routine. The covers go on and come off in under a minute, and for a vehicle that stands in the sun at home or at work, that minute buys real protection for paint and interior. For long-term storage the case is even stronger.
Will the cover scratch my paintwork?
No. The fabric's inner face is soft and non-abrasive. The practical rule is to fit the cover on a clean(ish) car: grit trapped under any cover is what marks paint, not the cover itself.
Do you cover motorbikes, trailers or boats?
Motorbike covers are a standard part of this range, in small, medium and large. Trailer covers have their own range at /covers/trailer-covers, including fitted Venter sizes. Boats and jet skis are made-to-measure work: send the dimensions (and a photo helps) through the made-to-measure enquiry on our contact page and we'll quote a fitted cover.
